Purposes:
Casa Loyola: Supported and housed 500 children in 30 years
Nimai Psychology Program: Assisting children who are victims of violence to learn how to recognize and manage it.
Family Strengthening Center: Educates parents on practices and behaviors such as positive discipline techniques, and promoting constructive interaction between parent and child.
Nenemi Indigenous School: Currently there are 125 students attending elementary thru junior high. The students are taught in their native language to maintain a child’s sense of belonging and to continue to observe their traditional celebrations days. Students also learn Spanish.
Na Va’li (“Boys and Girls” in Nahuati language): Provides food, medical attention and a basic education to children of indigenous farm workers who come from the mountains to the farming communities around Leon at harvest time.
