How ARC’s Services Can Help Support a Suddenly Remote Workforce

Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the health of our customers, employees, and communities comes before anything else. So to ensure we’re doing everything we can to stop the spread, we’ve been carefully following the CDC’s latest guidance on social distancing. 

To adhere to that guidance, and help others adhere to that guidance, we’ve also rolled out a few changes to our operations. And we’re highlighting services we’ve always provided that can help ease the burden on your business in these trying times. 

In this post, we’ll overview the services, operational changes, and products at ARC that can help you keep your business running.

 

Curbside Services and Limited Touch Delivery

All of ARC’s Service Centers will now be providing curbside services. So when you arrive, all you need to do is give the Service Center a call to let them know you’re there. 

We’re encouraging all our Service Center customers to remain in their car so we can limit crowding with the Service Center itself. In addition to these curbside services, we’re offering limited-touch delivery services and attempting “contactless” transactions in all locations.

 

Health and Safety Posters

Now more than ever, clearly communicating accurate information—especially as it relates to the ongoing health crisis—is critical. To that end, ARC is providing a variety of indoor and outdoor signage with educational information about COVID-19, social distancing, and sanitation.

Workspace Background for Video Calls 

With the majority of the United States under shelter-in-place orders, and to keep ourselves safe, we must rely on video conferencing for any face-to-face interactions. If you weren’t already set up to work from home, it can be tough to find a suitable location for video calls. 

ARC’s office banners can solve this problem by giving any wall in your home a professional look. All you have to do is provide your own logo or image, select a size, and ARC can take care of the rest. Learn more about ARC’s office backdrops here.

 

Send Print Jobs from Home with the ARC Mobile Print App

The ARC Mobile Print app was designed to enable customers to order prints from anywhere, send detailed print project specifications, track the status of print jobs, and request quotes from ARC’s Service Center. 

You can download that app from the App Store and schedule pick-ups and deliveries of your print jobs without leaving your home. Of course, you can also call or email the Service Center nearest you directly. For a full list of our locations, go to this page.

Should any service center become unavailable within ARC’s national footprint, the network will automatically route jobs to the nearest location to the affected branch and you’ll be notified of any changes if re-routing affects delivery time.

Our primary concerns are for the people who work for us and the customers we are servicing through these difficult times. Other best practices employed in our locations include:

  • Maintaining social distancing at all times possible.
  • Attempting “contactless” transactions in all locations.
  • Disinfecting and cleaning our premises several times a day.
